Default The 20g pump gas thread

Hey I've been searching around and I noticed that there is not just one thread where Suby owners can compare their pump gas 20g dynographs.

All subaru models welcomed, All 20g models welcomed(Td05-Td06..7cm-8cm or combination of any), All displacements welcomed, All dynos welcomed (high and low reading)

Post boost pressure, octane level, and mods if you can, and feedback welcomed (so put your flame-suits on).

just one rule..........

.....NO RACE GAS OR METH.

Edit: please list what dyno it was tuned on.

Td05 20g 8cm, 92 octane, 20.5psi

Sorry, I don't have separate sheets for race and pump so just ignore the higher numbers I guess.

Green: 93 octane, 21 psi but that was without the map sensor, P&L big maf, and also without the header wrap.
Blue: 93 octane, 21 PSI
Red: 100 octane, 26 psi (just in case someone wanted to know but I know that's not what the thread is about)

91 oct + meth is not that much higher octane than 93.

Just because a lot of people dont have access to race gas or meth.

u cant live more in the middle of nowhere than i do. Im an hour from death valley.......

home depot, any home improvement store, any paint store, or any auto store have methanol or products with tons of methanol in it.

and if you dont have car shops there with race gas check off-road places that sell dirt bikes and quads. all the ones here carry 5 gallon pails of VP.

but whats the difference in comparing a 2L with a td05 7cm to a 2.5 with a td06 8cm......and comparing a td06 8cm on 91 to a td06 8cm on 91+meth?

Denatured alcohol from home depot works like a charm. Used it regularly a couple of years back as my alky of choice. Even used rubbing alcohol with the least water content when in jams with no issues.

Wish I had saved my fp20gtdo58cm dyno plot.

With 800cc injectors, stock sti tmic, tbe, ap vers.1 it put down roughly 325whp at around 20psi on either a dyno dynamics or dynomite dyno. Tuned by Jon who is now at HB Speed in Cali back in 2006. Pump gas and tuned when it was approximately 90degrees outside and about 100+degrees in the dyno room.

at mavrick it was a DynoLog

at PDT it was a Dyno Dynamics

Sorry Phatron.

I apologize to the almighty Subaru Guru.

I guess i'm just a normal guy who fills up at the nearest gas station and goes to work and takes care of his family.

I guess I wont post anymore so i dont make the almighty Subaru Guru put the smackdown on me or my thread.

No but seriously, there are alot of people who would rather not even deal with race gas or meth to make power.

Me being one of them.

My last wrx witha 2.0 td06 20g 8cm went 12.2 @ 114 on a 90 degree day. It was about 3300 lbs. Never on a dyno. It had all the usual stuff, header, TBE, injectors, fuel pump, tgv delete, big tmic, etc.

Thank you Phatron.

Yup no E85 also.

But back to the purpose of the thread I am hoping that more people will post actual dynographs.
