Fuel Line Questions
After tearing into my engine to sort some things out, I found that there was a line that was exposed. Looking at some other pictures and reading I found that it should be a return line but with the way everything else is set up on mine it looks more like a vent. Does the vent need to be open to the atmosphere or should it be going somewhere?
There is a picture. You can see the fuel pressure regulator there and it is the center hose of the 3 that is not hooked up to anything. It dumps right under the center of the intake manifold. |

Pretty sure thats your EVAP line. It should be hooked up, are you throwing a CEL?

No CEL is being thrown, just running real rich now. The exposed line has a barb on it and you can tell at one time it was hooked up to something since it is relatively clean on the end.

Yeah its the evap line. Where is it not connected? The line runs from the charcoal canister in the back of the car all the way up and into the rats nest with near the turbo inlet pipe

It should run under the manifold and into the purge control solenoid which is bolted on the front of you intake manifold behind the power steering pump
