True. Only needs a downpipe then stage 2 can happen

I never understood the hatch vs. wagon argument. Last time I checked the title on my '12 WRX clearly states "STN WAGON". Perhaps I should ask for my money back.

Wagons have two criteria.

1. Cargo area must have a side window
2. Roof must cover at least half of the cargo area

SOURCE

Not sure if the little window would count for point number one, but I'm pretty sure the roof does not cover more than half of the cargo area on the 08+ hatches.

Really wanna do the sedan fenders and bumpers, but feel like it looks off if you don't do the rears too - and that looks like a pain

I think it looks pretty good with just the fronts, but I'm biased.

Helped out at Recce for the Nameless Rally

Washed my car for the first time in ~2 years. 2.5 rallies on the last wash

Road tripped to Eastern Washington to help my family pick out a new house! By paper napkin calculation, I can fit 8 of my wagon in the new garage.

I really like the look of the sedan front end on the wagon and no sedan widebody in the rear. Most do the front only because it is way easier and cheaper. Rears have to be grafted in then repainted. The rear isnt usually a diy either. But if you do go full sedan front and rear on your wagon, it does look awesome.

I've never seen one in person, but when I see pictures of front end swapped wagons they just look like fat and lazy bulldogs with their front elbows sticking out and having trouble moving.....

I agree, without the rears quarters and doors, it looks half finished and an incomplete project. A bit ghetto imo...

Yeah... Its my mom's. Until my dad moves out to meet her (she moved first when she got a job, dad will follow in two years or so), it will just be her one car. I think she needs at least a Miata and something classic to go with her Nissan. And of course a Subaru . At least I'll have indoor parking when I go visit her .

Sweet mother of god, that garage.... I'm so jealous.

I like the GR wrx stocks on the wagons. Not sure on blob, but on bug it works perfect IMO.

Does anyone know if the spoiler on the wagons is actually functional or is it just for show?

Pretty sure its just show for the most part. That being said, rain and dust accumulation on the back window was significantly less after I installed mine.

It does direct some air down over the hump in the middle to create some down force. When you add the waist spoiler, the effects are increased.
