Here's a short video from inside my '02 wagon at the Lone Pine Time Trial. I placed 8th on Saturday and 5th on Sunday in raw times and PAX , 1st in Street Touring Combined both days. That's a great result for this mid pack racer.

Does anybody know of any threads for deleting the roof spoiler on the 02-07 WRX wagon? I want to take mine off to see how it looks but if I take the roof spoiler off, the holes where it was bolted to will be exposed.

I believe there is also a Saab part number for the parts, the Saabaru doesn't have rails.

He said roof spoiler not rails.

The hatch wing should have 2 bolts through it, there are 2 plastic pop covers on the top of the wing where the bolts go, pop those off and see whats underneath.

I dont want to take off my roof rails. The spoiler on the tail gate. Sorry if I caused any confusion. Wasn't sure what to call it. But I want to take off the spoil on my wagon but If i do that, the holes where the spoiler was bolted on to will be exposed. Allowing for dirt and water to enter the car.

I already did that. That is why I am asking. What do the Impreza Outback Sport or the stock Impreza wagon of 2002-2007 have on the tailgate instead of the spoiler?

I believe that the outbacks without the wing simply just dont have the holes in the top of the hatch. You would have to weld or fill in the holes and then re-paint. My opinion is that the wagons look weird wothout the spoiler though.

Yeah, I hesitate to use the word "weaksauce" but I'm having trouble finding another word that conveys what I feel when I see one of these without the rear spoiler.

You could probably find a salvaged rear hatch in the same color as yours without looking to hard. $20 says the inside of the glass is covered in dog snot though. Another $20 says the outside has a Coexist or Free Tibet sticker.

Wow that's beautiful ddavisgt. I hit a nasty pothole and cracked the lips on two of my wheels. Before: 18x8.5 +35 Axis Reverb with cheap 215/40 tires Now: 17x8 +48 XXR 522 with Yokohama S Drive 235/40 tires

I'm gonna take the spacers out of the rear suspension at some point and see if it looks better.

I love it. Id love to do this with my '04 but its soo much work/expensive. Although I like it, I feel like the front end is missing something. I dunno if it needs the STI splitters or what but i think it needs some transition from the aggressive flares that brings a more aggressive front end.

Sweet wagon jimbosv650, What flares did you use?

Thanks guys, Im pretty happy with the car overall. I tried to make a set of splitters work, but the flares wouldnt work with them without removing the bumper flare piece like Erok did. I liked having the front bumper flare on there to complete the flare so it was a trade off. I thought about messing with the grill, but at the same time I kinda like having the stock suby logo still intact, so its still up in the air. The car was dropped off for hopefully its last dyno tune for a while or until something breaks.

Yeah I agree. If it was a different platform I'd be more inclined to do it. So if or when I do air if will be another vehicle most likely.
