Default Wrapping a Hella horn

The boy just picked up a pair of Sharptones for his 05 Forester and wants to wrap them.

Has anyone tried this and does it work?

I would think that Plastidip would be a better route.

paint or plasidip would be easier..Just the cages tho. If you paint/wrap the inner black part it could muffle the horn toots.

I took mine apart, scuffed them, and painted them a few years ago. There still holding strong. Unless he’s a hell of a wrapper it won’t turn out well.

Gads - I HATE it when my toots are muffled......

Thanks all for the input - maybe it'll sink in because the advise isn't coming from 'dad'...
