i don't think that was the case... i think she had big plans for her and the IAG team said nice how bout this... and its what you see today. She hunted for parts for that thing most of the people on here have no clue about...lol. Whats wrong with having a vision and letting a shop bring it to life? In building a car you have to go to some shop for work at some point...

+1, no one person is an island, and everyone needs some degree of help, no matter how much help is involved. Congrats to IAG and to Subysnak. Made me want to subscribe to import tuner after seeing this, I did a way with all the magazines and went "digital". haha.

I agree with Mike... there is a hefty portion of NASIOC purists who would argue it's better to personally build as much as possible on your own car - even if you don't know, you can struggle and learn like so many of us do. However, that being said, the craftsmanship on this build is impeccable, and hard to replicate.

So technically a Shelby is bs too because of the fact someone else did the modifications instead of the end user.

I love the tucked engine bay. I'd love to do something like that, but, you know, priorities and everything

Here are a few more pictures:

Isn't that pretty much every show car / magazine cover car?

Just reminds me of this

if you all knew anything about joy (the owner) or myself (to the comment above) you would know that building a car like this involves much more than simply dropping the car off and paying the bill.

Don't be silly.

Congrats again joy!

From what you're saying, it sounds like Joy put more work into this than the Import Tuner interview let on. Clearly she put a lot of hours in at work to fund the quoted labor hours at IAG, but the interview really doesn't discuss her own trials and tribulations in the build process.

Saw this car at Hyperfest down at Summit Point this summer. I took one look at the engine bay and said there is no way somebody drives this thing around. Obviously I was wrong. Very nice looking car!

Its also a car thats "put into shows and steals all the trophies under shop car and personal car categories."

I know so many bitter people over this car because its so ridiculous that the average done up car has no chance if its entered in the show. I guess it looks nice but I don't particularly care for it. /shrug
