Default My Son

Test drove a '14 WRX with the SPT exhaust the other day. Took my son with me. After we left he told me he loves that car...especially because of the missiles on the back. That's what he calls the exhaust tips

He's 6

His profile says it's an 04.

I get why people think my car looks like a Neon. I mean, they are stupid and wrong and need to , but I see where they are coming from.

Buying a used short block from a junkyard (dad and I went and pulled it and wheeled it out to pay for it). So there we are with a short block on a wheelbarrow, and the guy is looking at it all confused and then this conversation occurs:

Guy: "Is that a 2 cylinder"
Me: "No it's a 4 cylinder"
Guy:
Me: "It's a boxer"
*walks around the other side, then back to the side he was originally on"
Guy: "So "
*meanwhile my dad is over there bumping his fists together demonstrating the motion of a boxer motor"
Guy: "So ... it has 2 heads"
Me: "Yep"
Guy: "You learn something new every day"

I really can't even begin to understand how someone can work with cars and car parts and not know what the hell a boxer motor is. That said, I do live in Kentucky so anything that's not a small block Chevy might as well be a space shuttle ...

You should stay away from comedy clubs. You'd probably void your bowels instantly.

Went to a little party at my friends house. I pulled up in my wagon and I get out and there's this girl sitting on the patio drunk and she just yells "evos are better! my boyfriend drives an evo and he would kill your subaru"... I kinda just laughed and went inside. About two hours later I'm about to leave and I go to say goodbye to my friend who has having the party. I walk into a room and shes in there with the drunk girl from outside. The drunk girls crying because her evo boyfriend took off with some other girl at the party. They both look up at me and I just said "and thats why wrxs are better" and laughed. She threw her drink at me and started crying again. She still hates me to this day.

I have a buddy who has an evo and I asked him how come he didn't get a sti instead. He said he didn't know anything about TMICs and didn't think that an sti could make the power his car does. "My evo makes 400 HP." <Is what he tells me. Can't tell me anything about what is done to it.
After me and a buddy finally got a look at it....its stock with a aftermarket BOV and a catback.

Subaru is for the more educated.

if a boxer motor f'ed him up, just imagine trying to explain how a rotary motor works to him.
