Amazing times! That is really awesome! How do you like your upgraded gear box? I mean would you say that it is meant for drag only, or do you daily drive it?

I partially daily drive it... I have a beater that I drive mostly to work. But, I could easily drive my car daily. It shifts butter smooth if you double clutch it. I can literally slide it into gear with my pinky.

yeah man with just 383whp you do not need a new shortblock you can push the stock block to 450whp and be fine (for a short while) How about you put on the new turbo and get the First WRX on a stock block in the 10's and make a world record? How about that o_O. And laugh in the faces of Evo and Sti owners whom with more power run 12's.

If I want to run a 1.06 35r with 30psi, I need a new one.

Damn impressive dude! Did you get the direct-shift capability of the dog-box working? I remember you were having issues with the DBW TB closing the butterfly when it hits redline, ever get that straitened out? I ask cuz just the other day I saw in Enginuity where you can prevent that from occurring allowing you to reset the limiter and direct shift the dogbox off the throttle blip.
Anyway, great times mang***8230;! |

And how much money have you spent?
Threads like this always make me wonder what the hell people are thinking. I'm not doggin' you, I'm just sayin' that if low drag numbers your goal, your money would have been much better spent on an STI, or an EVO X RS for that matter. |

If you plan on replacing the majority of the parts (motor, interior, tranny) then it makes more sense to start with the cheapest car IMHO. And before anyone says not true get a 2.5i start with the cheapest car that you dont have to spend time wiring/altering to fit the performance parts on. |
