Default Cheepest place to find EZ30R Shims for Valve Adjustment

I have a TWE Shim Under Bucket kit that uses stock Subaru Shim Under Buckets and am getting ready to do a valve adjustment and may need a set of shims.

I was told the shims that this setup uses is off the EZ30R.

Thanks
Brad

Cheapest place Ive found so far is subaruparts.com. They are around $25 cheaper then straight from the dealer.

Yep DOHC.

I found out also that the Subaru shim under bucket setup is in the EZ30D.

Just trying to figure this stuff out myself. The EZ30D is the EZ30R, from what I understand. I don't know what the designation is of the "normal" EZ30 - if it's just EZ30 or what.

Anyway, I've downloaded the appropriate sections of the Service Manuals for various models. The EZ30R's lifters (buckets) are 32.959-32.975mm in diameter, which is the same as the DOHC EJ25. The regular EZ30's lifters are 1mm larger (and the STI/WRX lifters are 1mm larger than that).

Ancient thread bump. I've searched but can't find a list of the ez30r solid buckets with varying thicknesses, like the sti versions which can be purchased to adjust clearance. Anyone know a site where the oem part numbers are listed? Subaruparts.com only has one listing and its about $20 but there isn't a way to request sizes. Seems the intake buckets are indeed hydraulic judging by their price being almost 5x as much. Bump for help

Intakes are for active valve lift and have a spring/pin inside. Look up Porsche VarioCam Plus to see how it works. Underneath is a shim, the bucket itself is one size.

Exhaust is shimless bucket, 33mm dia:

Your looking at the wrong part. The part you are looking for sits directly on top of the valve stem. The buckets on the intake side are multi-peice to allow for the variable valve lift system. This is the reason for the tiny shim that sits on the valve shim. The exhaust buckets (on the ez30r) are the normal shim buckets like what the STI uses.
