Default Carbon Fiber Hood Dampers/shocks

After tons of searching it seems to be very hard to find a set of light weight dampers for the carbon fiber hoods...
I have done some shopping around and some modifications and have made my own for my CF hood!
I was wondering if I started selling bolt on kits... Would there be any interest?

I have a seibon cf hood that I've been using my stock oem ones and they works just fine. Been using it over a couple years now with no issues.

No bending? Most people complain of a gap between the hood and fenders. And they say it can warp the hood.

Nope! No bending at all. There are gaps because its an aftermarket hood which everyone knows it will never be a perfect fit like OEMs. The gaps are there since the 1st day I installed it so its not the dampers fault.

Interesting. I have no dampers on mine now and it sits perfectly flush. Just the alignment is a bit off

In close position, the dampers does not put any pressures on the hood at all. When I popped the latch, the hood just stays at the same sitting position til I lift the hood slightly then the dampers kicked in. Wish I can show you a video of it. Don't get me wrong when I said I have gaps, that I meant its a huge gap. Its not and its not even noticeable till you look close.

Got a set of nrg carbon fiber dampers and it did not fit my car. Should of done my research first before i bought them. My car was a 2013 and the dampers was for 01-07 only. Seller advertised it as 00-14 so thats why i bought it. I would be interested in the dampers... Or maybe just the mounting plate because i have the nrg dampers already. I don't know anyone or any shops that are willing to sell just the plate? And am i missing something, or is it that no one carries an actual low pressure damper kit for the gv/gr subaru?
