Hyundai seems to only allocate 1 or 2 Elantra N per dealerships; Subaru dealerships have more WRX units on hand at the moment (but Elantra N has been on sale for a bit longer).

So, if I were to guess and take a bet, in the SF Bay Area, I expect Civic SI to outsell everything else in the segment, then it might be a toss up between Elantra N and WRX, then GTI last.

Are WRX's actually making it on lots unsold in this market?

Saw another WRB WRX today while out in Cape Cod. Apparently black, white and red haven't made the rounds yet. Orange for dang sure hasn't made it out.

We have a black sold order due for July. Also an orange. For September.

Not sure when they were ordered.

We have 2 silvers unsold due any day. Their ETA was yesterday; but, they are still at the railyard.

Is anyone buying the base level cars? While I don't like the interior of any of the trims, the base trim is total puke level.

I think that's the only trim buying this car makes sense.

It appears Limited is my "default" trim level for Subaru - I don't do cloth, so anything else is out, and at ~37k starting for a limited, no thanks.

Looks like they are.
But, this is the SF Bay Area, I expect they'll sell quickly enough; there are 7 on dealer lots accross 2 of my local dealerships.

I'm assuming it is. I'm wondering how much longer before we see a trim kit for replacement stereos?

Granted, I'm not sure what one does about those knobs and the hazard button.

I agree the design isn't there. SOME sort of design instead of flat plastic. Heck, match the fender texture at least!

It looks like a double DIN, but unfortunately it isn't, you can't upgrade with an aftermarket stereo

whoever though that stack was acceptable on even the base model needs a new job cleaning out trash cans.

they would have been better off going with the 2004 sti mindset and just leave a gaping hole where a HU can fit, and then letting dealers install, or letting the customer install.

A positive I can say about the dual screen look is that at least it's not gloss black surrounding it. A vinyl overlay will make it look better.

I had not seen the cheap version of this car.
Cheap - glue in a nintendo DS on it.
Limited - glue in a cheap tablet.

Now that the STI is no more, I expect 2023 to be a better model to buy. I would expect the top of the line model to have better options; maybe even better performance.
