Default Knocking sound coming from my passenger side rear wheel area

Yeah, I drive a 2004 STI with 27k miles on it. it's got cobb springs, endlink and rear sway bar. Just recently when i go over bumps or when i turn left i hear a knock sound. it comes from my passenger side rear tire. It happens at slow speeds or fast speeds, over slight bumps or heavy bumps in the road.

I've ruled out Loose lug nuts, **** rolling around in my trunk (i.e. spare tire and random stuff which there's nothing of), and all my axels and **** are in tact, there's no grease or anything it appears to be clean & nothing appears to be broken.

Any ideas of what this could be?

I'd also like to add that it drives fine. the sound is just very annoying and making me paranoyed.

nope it wont...
1. your mods you have on your suspension.
2. even if you revert it to stock and u were still under the limited basic 3/36k warranty... the dealership can tell if you played with the bolts on the suspension.

personally i dont like any cars stock suspension... theres always room for improvments... unless your talkin about some supercar, stock sucks... might be duable but hey you dont see to many peeps at the track with stock set ups winning any races. unless its a stock class.

check out some diff aftermarket struts... they most likely will be cheaper then oem ones and a lot more better. personally if i were u i'd look into a nice set of coilovers... remember u get what u paid for. if your just gonna drive it on the street get something cheap... if your gonna hit the track... its wise to invest money on a better set up the tein and what not. i use to rock teins on my wrx (which are now on Rich's wrx). not hard at all (except when i first installed em and had them on the hardest setting). i have 2 kids too. so i needed a duable ride for them.

i know that zeal makes a good set. prob one of the best comming out from japan. their just buqoo $$. endlessusa.com is the importer. i dont know if their web site is up again.. but damn they have sooo0o0o0o many options to go with. their only 6 way adjustible but like my buddy who works there asked me "you had tein, their the cheapest stuff from japan. could you really tell the diff between setting 14 and setting 15 or 16 for that matter??"

well hope that helps
good luck

gormonk runs the megans and loves them... hell he loves em so much his sticker is peeling / fading on his car and he STILL rocks it.

as for k-sport i was looking at their product... reminds me of junk2 i mean skunk2(that was for you BOBBY). i mean their brakes look cool but damn your getting all that they advertise for really cheap. im from the old school and believe u get what you pay for... thats why i go around beggin my old school friends from back in my street racing days some 13+ years ago to hook me up with parts (their in the industry still to this day).

they are both still new companies to our market. time will tell how they will hold up. but gormonk loves his... and we know how he Babies his car <))><

I dought that is your problem you said you put your sway bar in recently?I would put a 20 dollar bill theres not enough grease in your bushing it is common for them to make a little noise but if they are even slightly dry they will sound like some is taking a hammer to the car ,after about 2 track days I have to relube mine because of this very problem I dought it is your strut. It takes along time for them to get to the point were they sound this bad.

I am trying to decide between an coilover set-up or a set of prodrive/d-specs, based on what you said, i'll probably go with the megans, they arn't that much more $$ anyway.

Lol that true. Well one of those days I was up there while you were working, you said K-sport was pretty good and cost nexts to nothing for what coilovers usually cost. You must have had too many beers before work then.
