Anyone interest in some forged Prodrive GC-07C's? I'll be post up a set in GTR specs in the for sale section.

18x9.5 +15 5x114.3 all around, 18lbs each.

Could run some nice sized tires on these.

2019 sti putting down 430 on flex. I’m going with a 18 9.5 wheel with a 45 offset. I’ve been told a 275/35 tire will work without having to roll my finders or worry abt rubbing. Is this true? I’m stock ride height as of now. I do plan on coil overs but I’m only lowering a little. Probably not even 1” thanks for your reply’s

The +45mm works nicely on stock struts. Not so much when on coilovers. The coilovers are larger diameter (where it matters for tire clearance) and you will hit them with a 275 +45.

Are you dead set on coils? A set of swift spec r lowering springs and a 18x9.5 +40mm offset wheel with 275 tires is a great setup on the VA.

I mean I could stick with a 265 tire if that’ll work with coil overs and a +45 wheel? No I’m not stuck on coils and would install a quality strut with lowering springs if need be. I’d really like to stick to a +45 wheel if I can.

That being said, if I stay stock struts and springs would a 275 tire on a 9.5 +45 wheel work without modding finders and without rubbing?

265 +45 is very close to coils up front. It will depend on brand, spring length, alignment etc.

On stock struts and swift spec r the 9.5 +45 and 275 should fit nicely. Inboard isnít an issue and fenders should be clear. Maybe a tiny bit of hammering if it hits at full load and dips.

Answer me this guys. If I stayed with factory struts and ran a 275 tire on a +45 wheel would I need to do any modification to clear these fat tires?

Is lowering car a midge with factory setup and 275 tires possible without modifications?

You quoted me answering your question. Lol.

You may need some slight fender work.

Lowering on swift spec r works fine with that size.

Gotta say that I cannot recommend the Falken Pro G4 for cooler climates. Relatively inexpensive but takes a while to warm up during the winter. Has some crashing during the cold morning drive until about 5 miles are covered.
