Ever wondered what a bugeye would look like with Outback-sized tires on it? I had to raise the car 1" to fit them. Oh, and they're on because I need to drive across the country, and since a good part of the country is still having wintry weather, I'm using these off my Outback because they're all seasons.

Here they are on the Outback:

Why not lift the Outback and drive it across the country ? I have an 08 naturally aspirated outback at factory height and it is definitely more comfortable for long travel than any of my Imprezas. There is also the fact that there are areas in the country where 93oct fuel is not available. I donít know what tune if any you have on the Impreza but I hope it is safe to operate on lower than 93oct grade fuel.

Thanks, I have to drive the WRX back to register it. Yes, I would prefer to take the Outback on longer drives, the WRX has an EJ207 + JDM 6 speed, so it's geared really low. IE, turning 3,750rpm at 80mph. But it needs to be registered/emissions tested, and I can't do that in CA. Speaking of, yes, it's tuned on 91 so I'm good there. And I tuned it, so I can make any adjustments as needed along the way.

Thanks! Yes, I love the SRP! The wheels are 18x8.5, and the tires are 254/45/18.

I really like the fitment on your car. Subtle, but aggressive.

Gotcha, that all makes sense now. I have a jdm STi motor/transmission, etc swapped Impreza platform vehicle also with lower gear ratios, I know what you mean. I wish I knew how to tune, that would come in handy.
Safe travels dude.

I need to make it out there next time!

I like the fishbowl look so decided to go with a 70% ceramic tint and tinted the taillights lightly. Not sure if I even like it yet

Thanks! No the sideskirts are old school, as is the rest of the car. I forget who made them, C-West? They are all one piece and they hang pretty low. But yeah, I like them because they are very similar to the STi side skirts, but beefier.

Threw on some new shoes. Went from MB Weapon 18X7.5 225/40/18's to some BBS LM reps in 17X8.5 and a beefier Valino Tire 245/40/17. I'm loving the change so far.
