![]() It looks too tall above the dash to be final. I don't think this will be the final solution. but hey, who knows at this point.
I like decent sized screens, but don't like when that's the only interface. I think the last wrx was pretty great, but this one sucks. I love the brz interior. Enjoyed my mk7.5 R interior. Still like many of the higher level Audi interiors (not a huge fan of the 3 interior).

![]() TheTopher raves about the WRX
There's some dirt road driving at the end. tl;dw: brakes poor. infotainment poor. looks growing on him. drive good. enjoyment factor very good. He also says that it's got all the boxer engine noises... which is an obvious ELH lie. ![]() |

![]() I like the color. Interior is good, except for the HU.
Rest, ewww, no. Call it an Outback Sport, not a WRX. |

1: The driving dynamics of this car are better than the previous model. This isn't that much of a shock, as a lot of use (who pay attention) figured that would be the case since they were switching the SGP for this chassis. 2: Subaru clearly is more interested in catering to a different demographic, and not very interested in giving their enthusiast consumer base things they want. No STI model, Recaros and adaptive dampers only available with a CVT, and so on. Styling is subjective, and hard to argue. I will say that *I* think the car looks a bit better in person than in photos, but is still far from my favorite generation. I hated the concept when it was unveiled, and thought the production 2015 model was substantially better. Because concepts are built around giant fender arches, obscene amounts of carbon, 26" wheels with rubber band tires, pencil thin lights, and so on. They'll always be bastardized by the time they hit production. Subaru wants to say the cladding is for aerodynamic efficiency. That's all fine and dandy, but I don't see any F1 cars are production supercars that are focused heavily on aero with that trash on it anywhere. I applaud your loyalty and enthusiasm for the brand though. Regardless of how cringe it is at times. |

![]() The car needs the goodies. Big brake package. Improved cladding. I dunno, make it piano black or something “cooler”, less cheap looking. Can be color matched or add WRX plaque in it somewhere like older generations around the air vents.
Perhaps do a power improvement? 290hp or something. So a factory power bump, big brake package. Perhaps some diffs select. And improved cladding. The car would be much much better. But unfortunately I think it’ll just be some red painted calipers tS edition with must have red interior stitching for added street cred and there, Subaru goes out with a bang for its las ICE “rally” turbo car. |

![]() I don't mind the cladding but I would like to see the active dampers and Ascent brakes at least as an option on a 6 speed Premium trim with HK in Lapis Blue Pearl for around 35K. Damn, that would be just about perfect spec.
