Default Non-touristy things to do in Seattle

Hey guys, my g/f and I are going to be visiting Seattle for a long weekend in a couple weeks. I'm wondering what are some non-typical tourist things to do that locals would know more about. Things like, I wanna eat at Oskar's Kitchen (Shawn Kemp fan )

You've got to go to the conservatory at volunteer park. Trust! Make it a surprise date thing for the lady. You can thank me later.

This. I went earlier this year and they were small. In August, they get to be pretty large - beautiful area and easy trail.
http://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/big-four-ice-caves

There is a place in Fremont called Paseos that is ridiculously good. It's cash only and the line is ridiculously long during lunch. If you get there too late they will most likely have run out of bread and you're screwed.
http://www.paseoseattle.com/

The parks suggested are all great. Honestly, I'd go to Capitol Hill and walk around and find some good food and enjoy the people watching. Take her to Cupcake Royale and she will love you forever if she loves sweets. http://www.cupcakeroyale.com/capitolhill.php

You can go to West Seattle - they are a foodie area and have lots of good eats. There is a store called the Beer Junction that has beer from all over the world in bottles and several beers on tap that you can't get many other places. They let you drink in there and you can get wings delivered from next door.
http://www.thebeerjunction.com/

You can go to the West Seattle, Ballard, or Edmonds Saturday markets - all are awesome and have something unique to offer.

I like the Zoo. I'm probably the only guy who thinks so but it's a great spot for a date. Same with the aquarium / the glass exhibit downtown.

I'll try and think of some other things as well.

Check out a Sounders FC game if they are in town when you're going to be here.

Gonna have to check this place out. Best burger I've had so far in Wa was at FlipnOut in Tacoma. Love finding the best burgers. It's a delicious mission.

Lunbox lab is glutton Americana food
Volunteer park is by azn art museum greenhouse tower that's as high as space needle that also can see Bellevue and free...
Bamboo garden in Seattle center area is the best fake ckn, beef, seafood for anyone who loves how food tastes but can't eat meat or is kosher or ppl who just love good Chinese food.

Ballard locks are free and beautiful all times of year salmon latter is awesome as well.

Archie mcfee is cool as well and near the locks

Street art is great all over cap hill by gum wall in pike place, Georgetown art wall is awesome too there was a free wall in Sodom but its fenced off now... It's all ever changing and have great local art.

Japonessa across from SAM is the menu of UMI, just a little nicer, made by the chef from wasabi bistro, who left to open his own better place durring the 2 yr remodeling at wasabi... Almost always on happy hr can fill 2 ppl with gluttony for $25 and open before 4 unlike UMI... Service can be spotty but where isn't when they are slammed on a Bad night. Happy hour FTW all over Seattle...

There is nothing like the mountain roads down around south king. Check out Mt. Rainier national park. Tons of great hiking off of HWY 410 and I-90.
