Post Sights & Sounds of the Avenue Thursday night

I was down at the 'Avenue' in White Marsh Thursday night and saw some interesting cars. There was a black M3, a blue Viper w/ white racing stripes, a hooked up Ford FOCUS!!!, a piece of crap Honda hatchback with "THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS" painted on the hood complete with front and rear race car seats and surprisingly two RS's!
The RS's were both silver, one was a coupe the other a sedan. The coupe was completely stock the sedan was heavily riced. Lots of vinyl, it was lowered, had blue rims with rubberband tires, the rear wing was one of those trendy shiny steel track spoilers. I couldn't really say if I liked it or not, I mean it was a RS but with the taste in mods it looked more like a rice boy Civic. I dont think they are a board member, but if so sorry-its a bit overdone for my tastes. This was all capped off by a pair of guys endlessly circling the place in a beatup Neon blasting some Master P and trying to sport their 'ride'. The Avenue, what a place.

I can not stand some of the people at the Avenue. There are so many Neon's and Escort's that I almost get sick. What is the deal with Maryland and people buying Neons and hooking them up and then thinking they have the fastest car on the planit.

I have had my MY99 for 3 weeks and people try to race me at every light. It was fun the first time but when I had to take my Grandfather to the doctor's I had so stupid a** kid in a Civic come up and start reving his engine at the red light. Does this happen to anyone else?

I've seen that sedan before. Has a cr@pload of vinyl in like a thunderbolt pattern. The blue wheels match the decals. The guy who owns that car owns a powdercoating shop in Timonium. Think the car is a bit overdone. Nice guy, though.

-The Avenue brings out the "best of the best" in terms of personalities. Just imagine what that driveway in front of the movie theatre during the release of the Fast and the Furious. My guess is you'll see more modified (read: riced out) cars than in the movie!

I can only imagine how many people will be 'inspired' by cars in the Fast and the Furious. Soon the roads will be filled with cars that look like they came right off the movie set. "Hey isn't that Paul Walkers car...?"
