Default Question about Utec install!

I just installed the boost controller that came with the Utec should I have an extra tube to the old boost controller that came with the car sitting in the engine bay?? Or do I remove that, or did I do something wrong! Should I be turning the boost up this the Allen key or will the Utec does that??

I also have no idea how to mount the boost controller con someone please helps me out!!

You did something wrong, you shouldn't have any hoses flopping around freely. It sounds like you removed the T instead of the black restrictor. The only one you should need to tie out of the way is the ABC(bleed valve that came with the UTEC). The only thing you remove is the black restrictor in the line to the factory Boost Contoller(this is not a "T" it's just a straight through piece), that's where you put the ABC inline. I'm pretty sure you use the metal plate with the holes in it to mount it under the plastic cover where you're factory BC is. It comes with a tie wrap to strap the ABC to it then you just use one of the existing bolts back there to mount the plate. You should be able to figure it out once you get in there. The UTEC manual has pictures of it installed too.

could be a few things, make sure you are running open loop boost control in the paramters if you're just running the base map(#'s in the 80's and 90's on the boost map). You might need to open the ABC a bit, maybe a turn or two, shouldn't need much more than that. I would say three at the most. -James

I had to turn mine 4 times counterclockwise to get it to 0.11 MPa.
