When you make no money in the theater, you get bumped to DVD quickly.

i figured SRT-4's were being used to transport these, theres no other way it could be released so fast..

so if a movie does bad, its pushed to DVD right away.. if a movie is good, its pushed to DVD right away, if a movie is only OK...it takes 9 months to be released on DVD..

yeah, that makes sense

UNFORTUNATELY, the movie made a crap load of money in the theaters. 216,300,000 gross worldwide and $127,083,765 in the states.

Matrix Reloaded took in $115 million opening weekend. I don't think they made the profit on 2F2F that they wanted to.

wow - I thought I made a shat once that was friggin HUGE compared to my body size, and it probably would've been worth at least $150m just for the shear size of it. Too bad I didn't take a photo of it - I could've had more money than 2F2F

That movie was the worst EVAR! Good thing I didn't pay to see it or I would have demanded my money back. But generally, movies are being turned around faster than ever to dvd. A lot of movies houses have the dvd's ready w/ all the extra stuff, long before it hits the theatre. They want to maximize profits. Especially, after paying horrible actors way too much money for really bad movies. That's why the movie industry is doing so poorly.
