Definitely will be enough for 500 on pump!

Definitely a sad thing but I assume it’s for the better. I’m imagining with proper evolution, there’s a chance of having decent high horsepower vehicles that can still be smog/CARB legal. A fact forsure though is that COBB will experience a huge loss of supporters that will migrate to companies that still supply the go-fast parts everyone loves. Ex. IAG, Killer B, Crawford etc etc. Anyone else wanna chime in ?

Lol, sure, until the EPA sues/fines them out of existence, like they have so many other companies.

Automatic/Required Software Update
To ensure an even playing field and that all Accesstuner and Accesstuner Pro users are utilizing our Green Speed compliant software, we have developed an automatic/required update function in the software. As you have seen, on April 18, 2022 all users will be required to update their software to this new Green Speed compliant version of the software. All old versions of the software will cease to function after this date.

Rofl. I wonder how tuners who live in countries without emissions regulations will feel about this "feature"

Guess we're all going opensource now.

I went with ecutek 4-5years ago and it blows the doors off of Cobb in terms of features. Lc is adjustable via cruise control so no need to plug ap in to go thru menus. ECUtek ffs or nls is way more aggressive. Lc is more aggressive, throttle blip downshifting is insane.

There are tuners out there that I would like to have tune my car but only use cobb or aem, and I am not bricking my ECU again cause of a $5 cable or spending $2k on a stand alone ecu for a tune. Hopefully this means more tuners will expand the software that they tune on. I got really annoyed with how many tuners only use cobb as if its the only platform they understand when ECUtek is about the same price and has more motorsport features.

A lot can be done on open source with the proper know how. It might take a little more time but it is definitely doable.

Honestly it’s gonna open the door for customers to head over to using other tuning software such as ECUtek ect. I never understood what the cobb craze was about, but then again nine out of 10 people just go stage two and never get a professional tune lol

Yea I found out today. There was this one bit in the blurb that said “unless you like/don’t mind having a check engine light” when referring to ecutek. Maybe that means they will still have software available but will not allow features that disable emissions parts, thus leading the check engine light on but may be still allowing to tune? I really don’t want to get a standalone and deal with all the bugs that come with it

I just heard back from circuit motor sports, and they personally will be shifting to ECUtek and will be using that going forward.
Thankfully I have just about everything I need on the car except for fuel rails. The one hiccup which might suck is the fab time for a headlight mount set up. Have you spoken with Taylor as to what his plans are moving forward?

Well it’ll be interesting to see how ECUtek is a goin forward for sure!

I want to switch to headlight mount lol. But I haven’t used Taylor recently. I switched to Mike Botti since November lol. That’s when I switched out fuel lines and all that!
