Default STi fuel pump vs. WRX fuel pump

Anyone knows what each pump is rated up to? can USDM STi fuel pump be used in place of Walboro FP on a stage 4 WRX?

Thanks!

If I remember correct, stock wrx is like 140, sti is 180 or so and 255 for the Walbro.

Not sure if 180 would work for a stage4 wrx. I have one for sale if you want. $40 shipped. Replaced with Walbro at 13k miles. I have the filter and box if you want those.

Hey, this all comes back to the "Better Safe than sorry" argement. Why chance it? I see vendors sell Walbro shipped for 95$ all the time.

If you do get the STi one, please tell us, so I can get ready for my "I TOLD YOU SO!" response when you start your "Why did I durn up Cyl 4" thread.

Default I'd like the pump if you don't get it WRXVII

WRXVII, if you don't get that STI pump I'd like dibs. I'm waiting on a guy for a wrx pump to send a pic and he hasn't sent the pic yet. I'm itching to get a better pump since mine is the stock 1.8l (brand new at least) and I'm running a 2.5. Want to make sure there's enough fuel for now and help build up for later. Let me know what happens, thanks.

It will drop right in and plug right up to your stock connector.
