Is this race the 1/4 mile or is it auto-x? What kind of cop cars are they? Impala?Crown Vic? Are they supercharged?

AFAIK it's all drag racing, bracket-style. The ad I saw said something about "cars ranging from 15sec. Caprices to 9 sec highly modified dragsters". From the sound of it, I don't think ALL the cops will be driving patrol cars, some should be driving faster vehicles.

Default beat the heat

I posted about a month ago about the event. It is a 1/4 mile race vs. numerous cop cars from full race to regular patrol. Try a search for race the police legally. On March 17 I believe and its a Sunday I think. A 3 day event at RCR and the last day from noon to five its open racing for 15$ I believe. or go to here
