Default What does 104whp, 5k in suspension and big brakes look like ?

http://media.putfile.com/Myles-22L-Lap1

Well press play and go make a sandwich !!!

97 OBS

104whp ( 2.2 motor)

Whiteline suspension products

Legacy GT Brakes/ Endless Pads

Toyo street tires

Point of this project is to see how far you can go with suspension and brakes and a "OK" driver...

Thanks for Keefe Lee as the camera car, I know he almost fell asleep back there.

I noticed the sound worked at the shop computer and not at my house,.............dont know. At any rate its just wind noise and tires screeching. No blow off valves, or deep exhaust note sound of 450 whp, or straight cut gears....LOL. JUst the sound of 2.2 litres of motor ready to give up at any second.LOL.

ooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..that hurt. LOL.

Nahhhhh, its a training car actually for clients who are learning to drive the right way. We can take students out in this car and work with them for a day . At the end of the day they should be at a certain point. From there we can jump into a 300whp STI and apply the basics with speed. Other wise alot of guys jump in with 345whp and develope alot of bad habits, habits that end up being costly later.

also remember that there is a passenger in the car. you might see me hanging out the window in the video

i'm sure the extra 145ish pounds is noticeable in a car like that.

Dude, you were the only one who can say how much effort that little bit of speed takes to extract from that car.

It might be better if I just make a road trip down there when I decide to buy my new suspension from you, and then you can educate me on how to drive my own car!

Speaking of new suspension, expect a PM from me.

No problem. Just let us know. When I had alot of Porsche and Ferraroi clients I would spend 4 hrs with them BEFORE a track event to get the basics down. No fast driving at all, just hand position, seating position, looking , the way they interpret certain corners..and the LINE.

e-mail me direct.

Sound worked fine for me.

No brakes through turn 5, very nice. I haven't been to Summit since '02, but I could never bring myself to go through 5 without braking. The car was probably up to it, but my cojones weren't.

Nooooooooooo, I dont think I said 5,..there is no way. I said turn 3 and turn 10 no brakes. If I said 5, I meant 10 and 3. I am already flat from 6 to 10, I think with the tires I can go flat into 6 also.

Myles,

Do you charge hourly for your teaching services? I've really been wanting to come down to summit point to "learn to drive".
