Default EGT probe for old Defi-D?

So I have two Defi D-gauges that are stand-alones and I think are some of the best ever made...but alas no more. My EGT probe (pyrometer?) was welded into my manifold b/c it kept popping out. I would like to sell these Defis with my part-out but before I take it off the car I want to know if I can find another probe that will work at the end of that line.

Does anyone one know if EGT sensors are universal to enough of a degree that if someone wanted to buy the gauge (which someone does) they could just solder another probe on? I would otherwise post pics of everything but everything is installed on the car currently.

Thanks.
