Default Teamrip EGT probe and Defi Gauge

So I ordered a new probe from Teamrip. I need to put their connector in place of the defi connector, on the wire between the probe and the control unit. There are two wires, red and white. The Defi connector has no indication as to which is positive and which is negative. I assume red is positive and white negative but I'm not sure. Can anyone answer this? I can get pictures if it will help.

i believe the defi gauges wiring is opposite. red should be negative and white is positive. i've read it here or iwsti.com.

on all TC's( thermocouples) Red is negitive. what more do you need to know?
i believe they are K type too. thats is the most common type in the automotive industry. if you do hook it up backwards it wont blow anything up. it will just read wrong.
