Thanks man, I personally think 18's is the biggest you should go for this body. For a 2012 wrx you should be going for a wider wheel like 9.5 or something with a lower offset otherwise the wheels will look too sunked in for the widebody wrx.

Were you thinking of getting the same wheels as mine?

I would go 18x9.5 +38 with a 255/35 tire, or something similar. That's what I have and it fits perfectly. I have the black hatch with chameleon grids a page back

If you want to go more aggressive you can do 18x10 also. Go check out WheelDude.com and give them a call they can tell you exactly what to run.

Nice. I ordered mine in black tho, since my car is red. I'm working on making a one-off front grill badge, but I have been busy with other mods.

Needs a drop and some wheels in my opinion(welcome to your own). Also what % you go with? Lastly the red is such a great color so sad Subaru got rid of it.

Great work. It's always nice to see people like you who contribute to this community in a positive way. Looking forward to what your future plans are with your car. Thanks again for all the retrofit info btw. I decided to not go with the led ring around the projector too btw lol

@ duvanatar
That first pic is definitely the coolest 2.5i action shot I've seen. Especially since its a swp hatch going hard in the snow. But anyways it looks great. Keep up the badass pics.

Wheels, yes. Drop, no. I already have to enter/exit my driveway at an angle on stock suspension, anything lower and my muffler is gonna go to hell. As for tint, 35% in front (legal) and 20% in the rear (for the kiddos).

You could do it yourself easily. I'm literally just taking an 1/8" thick piece of black plastic, cutting it to shape and then applying a red decal. Then I'm gonna use 3M automotive adhesive to stick it to my grill. I'm waiting until my black decals arrive before I order the smaller red ones because I have never purchased from that seller before and I want to make sure the quality is good.

Alright guys, I just got my decals in the mail. They gave me two sets, one set is the size I ordered and the other must have been a mistake. The top one measures 3.5" x 1" (mistake) and the bottom is 3.5" x 1.5". Even though I ordered the 2nd size, I think I like the mistake size better. Input?

The STi sizes are 4" x 2" and 3" x 1.5"

Technically, neither are correct.

Interesting cut job. Although mine aren't square, my cuts are at least straight.

Yeah, it was like that when I bought it. The previous owner had it put on. That's why I put the 2.5i decals on the fog light covers because I got tired of all the 16 year olds asking me if it was an sti. And even though I put those on even Subaru owners still ask if it's a wrx or not. For anyone that knows stock colors, that should be a dead giveaway right there.
