There would be a power drop for customers with big turbos and they would probably opt for the full exhaust, but some GT(X) 28-30 users might not care as the restriction wouldn't affect them as much and they would probably have lower budgets anyways. Plus, that would let them save up and add the 3 1/2" later. I recommend starting with a 3 1/2" exhaust for the GR sedan so I can buy it and adapt it to my Bellmouth downpipe by cutting it at the 3 1/2" diameter portion and adding some pipe and a flange... Speaking of, any progress/pics on the 2012 project car?

maybe its just the efr's that are like that but i always thought turbos were more compact transverse. either way its a great looking kit. im tepmted to buy one of your unfinished/straight out manifolds to try something custom. great work on the turbine reducer too btw. |

The 12 is going to have injectors put in soon and we should be getting some dyno testing on the cat-back we've been road testing. Then the GR downpipe will be done after we finish the GD version and after that the TS Low Mount... but that's probably fall. Quote:

great job on this kit! it's really looking promising!
question: how does this change underhood temps? specifically, if it's under the right front, doesn't that heat up the air that a cold air intake might pull in? or, running the exhaust that close to the RF axle, would it burn up the axle boot prematurely? |

the exhaust is always close to that axle and the intake is in front of all exhaust components right near the very front of the car. no hot air over there.

looks like you can cut out another foot or more of charge pipe if you ran a reversed intake manifold and throttle body setup. yay for more spool!

That's two for the radiator adapter. If we get to (5) I'll price out manufacturing a small batch. Great to know! Last edited by KillerBMotorsport; 04-12-2013 at 08:38 AM. |

nice!! i didn't realize the turbo was mounted as far inboard, toward the center of the car. i was under the impression that it utilized the space between the front right fog light and the wheel well.
as for the axle boot question - do you have any shots from under the car to show how the exhaust is routed around the RF axle? |

im interested in the lower coolant passage adapter too. provided the price point is right.
would it need a custom lower hose? or should it work with stock hoses/rad fine? |

Correct on the GDs it's very limited. Nothing larger than a GTX35 |

I'd be interested to see how fast this could spool a 20G for an autocross car.

Started her up last week and prepping her for an engine transplant. Nothing exciting to report just yet.
