It's funny you mention the new Fusion; I was thinking of them over the past few days. I want to trade my truck in for something more economical and just buy a beater truck for the boat towing etc. Naturally, the Fusion was near the top of my list....

I can't find ANY 2013's for sale, let alone a 6m.

Correct. TT = Tool Tryout. PP = Pre Production (I think) MP1/2 = Mass Production.

We're doing MP1/2 builds on the Fusion right now.

Now y'all see the fascia and bonnets I've been seening for months.

You'll be very hard pressed to find a 6MT Fusion. I considered ordering one when I bought my Focus ST. Wish it'd come with the 2.0L EB and not just the 1.6L EB (for '13)

That looks nice. Much better than the stretched and abused retro nose on the current car. I may have to try harder to come up with a way to justify getting a two-door daily driver .

I like what I can see so far, I just hope the rumors about it being smaller that the current Mustang are true, but it doesn't look so in the photos. I hope they unveil it soon.

Looks awesome. If the 300lbs weight reduction news is true, I will buy it. Can't believe that Ford has changed this car so much that within the span of a few years I went from "Not ever." for the 2005-2010 to "Really kind of want." after the refresh to "It will be mine" with the apparent next gen.

From the front shots, judging from the size of the driver, it looks really small. But then, when you see it with the yellow Mustang in the shot not so much. I actually had a Mustang II and liked the size. It was a hatchback though.

2015 should b an interesting year for Ford.

New Mustang and the new Focus RS.

Decisions decisions...actually it's pretty easy. RS all day long.

What are the sensors on the wheels? That's a first for me.

I've seen similar rigs on nascar test cars. They were testing tire deflection at the time, but said they could test a lot more if needed.

Those are cool little sensors built right here in my current home town. They can measure factional forces in just about any direction. Slick little devices.

I got a tour of the Joe Gibbs race team headquarters in Charlotte when I stopped by to pick up some scrap CF. That's when I saw the rig and found out about it. I asked how much it cost and was told "a lot". Of course my little mind was thinking about it in terms of testing tire deflection and spring rate during autox. Definitely some cool stuff.

I agree, that was the deal breaker for me-- and I'd already had one ordered. I'm astounded when any performance car has a raft of issues with its manual transmission these days.

Without a Tremec 6 speed, I would probably pass on the Mustang, waiting to see what this thing looks like though.

Can't wait to get back into a Mustang. I will patiently wait at least 3 years for Ford to work out the kinks though.
