Question Hey

Hey Frank (Chopstixx),

I just PM'd you for directions. I will be coming from Wilmington, DE. Could you please send me directions as well. My XT6 is in pretty bad shape as far as it's suspension/steering is concerned so I need to talk to the XT6 expert there (Paisan).

Angry UPS attempting to ruin installfest!!!

my springs were suppossed to come yesterday, but of course UPS found a way to F' it UP! i called this afternoon and you'd think they go "oops, we messed up let's get in on a truck the next day!" nope, for them it obviously makes more sense to just let it sit there! i'm glad i called because they had no urgency in trying to deliver it today. I have to drive down to Bound Brook to pick them up, but i should have them for tomorrow, assuming the geniuses there can find the box! hey ups, :monkey:^10,000,000

How did the installfest go? I couldn't take off work once again and the fool that was responsible cancelled his vacation without letting my boss know. He just showed up at work like, "I changed my mind".

Well, the I-fest went great. We had a great turn out. Everyone who wanted to have thier parts installed got em all put in...there were even a few suprise guests. We had a whole bunch of suspension work done, a turbo timer, some sway bars, and even a VF30 install. Went for some test drives and it was FUN! Power is sooo great....too bad i dont want to drive my own car now! Thanks to everyone who participated, and thanks to AZP for a great day of installs! I have a bunch of pics and a few vids that i can give up if someone can host them! Well, time for dinner! thanks for a great day all! can't wait till next time!

Definately had a great time today!!! Thanks Frank for hosting and taking out my silencer! I can not stop getting on it just to hear the turbo, its awesome! Great meeting new people and good to again see the ones I already knew. Too bad I had to go to work...i really enjoy hanging out with other subie people. For a funny sidenote....I got sunburn on my face and chest and I look like a beet (who would have thought you could get sunburn in winter, oh well, no biggie)
Looking forward to future subie meets...

I had a great time as well Thanks to Frank for the hospitality and the AZP crew for the great job on the spring/strut/top hat install on my car.

Here is a link to pics from the meet: click here. Please feel free to post pics if you've got them. If you don't have anywhere to host them, PM me and I can put them up for you.

-Bob

PS: my car WAS faster without you hogs + my old equipment in my trunk... It was a lot of fun giving you guys rides... I look forward to seeing your cars get sleeker and faster at future installfests/meets!

Hey guys! I just wanted to pass on that it was 70 degrees and sunny yesterday now in N.C. - got my car washed, and dumped those 400 lbs of wheels and tires off to my S4 buddy. The endlinks feel great, and the >5 minute install was nothing short of impressav! THanks to AZP and you guys doin all the work. And thanks to all the great people I got to meet for the first time - sorry I missed you Scott - I had to duck out a little early to get on my way.

The stop over at AutoSpeed was great - I got to hang out there for a little while and see all there cool toys. Mark (and the other guys) were awesome, and got my pulley installed. In combination with that and the endlinks, my car feels great!! It was so cool to meet you guys - I wish all my friends were as cool as you!!!!

Anyway, hope we can all find each other again at another install fest over the summer. The cars were great, the weather was beautiful, and I had a blast - thanks for the pics, and can't wait to see the video's.

Take care, hope to see you all soon again.
