Richmond Subi Shops

Hola y'all, does anyone know of a good Subi shop near Richmond? I am looking for someone that can do a pre-purchase inspection for me without my presence (I live near Philly). Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

PS - Other threads were older so I'm not sure if there still isn't a lot of experience in the area.

edit: you guys can delete this, the car sold so I am SOL.

This is too late for the OP, but for those searching after the fact, GNG Motorsports in Richmond specializes in Subarus and does an exceptional job.

Hey Guys,
I know this post has been crickets. I just recently moved to the RVA area and was looking for this exact thing. I have been a long time customer of Mach V in NOVA. Miss that shop already. I wanted to ask about GNG Motorsports. They good for routine stuff on all Subarus? Just wondering.

The wife's Forester needs some work. Any help is appreicated.

The Subie Guy in North Chesterfield has taken good care of 2 of my WRXs and a Forester XT for me. The owner used to be a mechanic at the Subaru dealership further down Midlothian Turnpike, and the work has always been pretty good and fairly priced. He has done about 5 timing belts for me, a clutch or two, and any of the extra stuff under the hood that I didn't want to tackle on my own.

Thank you for this recommendation of Mr. Subie Guy. Looks and sounds like a great shop. Took a look at his website, etc.

I did find out that GNG Motorsports closed about a year ago or so.
