Seriously all these people are worrying about the nitrided crank. He isn't going to run more than 500 hp. I have a 2011 WRX and mine has a Nitrided crank as well. I don't know if it is a revised crank compared to 2008/2009 wrx's though. I rebuilt mine with a forged bottom end and reused the crank because it measured out perfectly and didn't even hesitate because it was nitrided.

The FA20 Crankshaft is Nitrided apparently too.

OP I would run it.

Thanks! Although the crank does have 190,000km on it. I want this rebuild to last as long as possible. It might be worth spending the money on a new one now rather then later?

How many miles/kms where on your 2011?

112k km on my Crank. If the crank specs out perfectly then it hasn't worn, also cranks should really wear anyways.

Sure you could get a new crank, check out Flat Irons Tuning they usually have the best pricing on them. 315 USD IIRC.
