Yes, a group buy of 20+ people drops the price of the www.obd-2.com package to $73. You'd be surprised at how quickly you can attract 20 people. An added advantage is that this software will report on the WRX's front A/F sensor, which utilizes a non-standard OBD-II PID. I doubt any other package under $500 currently supports it. I've been using a test version and, although it's still a little buggy, it does actually spit out values for the WRX's front Air/Fuel sensor.

Might want to post this in the private classifieds. Probably get more people that way.

I was in a GB for the obd-2.com scan tool and it works great, you can use it as a data logger also. I bought the TRICOM version so it works with all (foreign and domestic) OBD2 car not just ISO.
Supposedly Alex (tool creator) is working on a palm version also that is supposed to be free to current owners.

I'm double checking the price. We're up to 11 I haven't even posted in the Group Buy Classifieds. Winslow

WRXnFX1974,
I just sent a message to Alex asking about organizing Group Buys of his products. I've decided that this product at this Group Buy price is something that every Impreza owner should have and should be able to afford. Once I hear back from Alex, I'll post here and in the Group Buy forum. I intend in the future to maintain a more-or-less continuous Group Buy for this at the 20+ (max discount) level. Partly, I want Alex to be aware of the number of Subaru people buying his product so that in the future he'll be willing to add Subaru-specific capabilities to his product. For instance, I sent him a file today with the Impreza-specific trouble codes above P0999. I hope we'll see an option to use this list (in addition to Honda and Rover?) when the next release comes out on the next of the month. The Impreza list I sent him was in the same format, so it should be easy for him to incorporate.
