Just called my dealer in Brampton Ontario for an update. They said its in Toronto waiting to be put on a truck to the dealer. Not too shabby considering I ordered on June 19th and it had to come from Japan. I should be getting the proof of life photograph from my dealer possibly at the end of the week.

I'm excited to get the car, but I am also sad to see the BRZ go. What a great little car. But the BRZ can be a little tiresome as your only vehicle year round.

Unfortunately I did not. Looks good except the silver screws with the black plate and front.

Yeah, I just got my vin last week. Website says on or before August 14, but the dealer said it'll be here on or before August 7th! I ordered mine the second day orders were open

Maybe its just the trim/colour that I ordered. I got a BASE STI in World Rally Blue. Seems like everybody is getting fully loaded cars on this forum. Maybe another dealer ordered this for their stock a while back and my dealer put my name to it.

That's exciting! I put a deposit down with the dealership in Mississauga in late March and got a vin around June 26th. Got the call over the weekend and have delivery scheduled for early next week. Maybe I'll see you around the province!

i was only able to find one 17-18 WRX limited in lapis blue with option 22 (harman/karmon) within a 500 mile radius and by the time i called the dealership, it was sold - online price had it at $35.5k.

so i decided to custom build mine at a dealership close to my apt and got way more bang for the buck with a final price of $35K w/ only $500 down deposit. i splurged a bit and probably wasted money, but i want to keep this car stock for at least the basic warranty period. so i dont mind throwing a few k into the car until then.

Nice! Keep us posted. I was going to wait until I got a VIN to order my wheels but I think I might just pull the trigger this week so that I have them whenever the car decides to show up.

That is definitely Heuberger - it's my local dealer so I've been there many many times.

WOW. What a wait. I ordered 6/9 and have a estimate of last week of August for delivery. No VIN yet though.

Seriously, I'm starting to get impatient! I also think my dealer might just be the lowest volume wrx/sti in the country, lol

The wait is terrible the closer you get. I did this almost exactly a year ago with our Forester and came back for more this year!

They quoted me 12 weeks on the Forester and it was at the dealer in 8.
They quoted me 16 weeks on the WRX - hoping it's here in 12.
