Sorry, I didn't realize it was a sensitive issue. Was just wanting to see the lines...

If you look up leenacoup she has the same grille and I believe she has some pics without the bug/rock guard.

Thanks, that does look pretty slick. I do like it a bit better than your last one.

I don't see why else you felt so compelled to correct what it is being called, and exactly why. It wasn't the point of the inqury...
Either way, carry on. Looking good.

Me too, the last one was of questionable fitment and was a gaping MAW. This one is a perfect fit and flows with the body lines better IMO. I have considered the removal of the bug/rock shield but the amount of highway I drive and the road crush/boulders the county uses instead of salt make chips and dents a real issue here.

Even if they weren't, I'm pretty sure molecules of air would damage your paint eventually. That seems to be the quality of Subaru paint IME

Hey, this is serious. I have been stuck on this modding addiction since I bought this car. I just have to kick the habit.

But seriously I don't think there is much more I want to do to her. Aesthetically it is where I want it (might remove the bug deflector as it looks out of place now) and I have no interest in going for power as the potential on this platform is minimal and costly. Just going to enjoy the car as she sits and maybe pick up some more maintenance skills as she ages.

That front plate delete reminds me of how ridiculous it is that some people here deal with continuous "no front plate" tickets just because they don't like the way they look. Like maybe if you have a Rolls Royce? But they're usually Audi Q3s and BMW 1 or 3 series. Also, they always seem to be the type of people to speed... so yeah good luck for those people on not attracting attention. Double stupid. Rant over.

What tires are you running pk?

Default What on earth have you done?!?

I haven't had a front plate for 6 months.. haven't been pulled over for speeding in 2 years.. it's not only because I hate how the front plate looks but I don't like the idea of a piece of metal shaking on my paint with dirt under it scratching up my paint. Sure there are ways around this but they cost money and I'm not going to go out of my way to keep my front license plate legal, when I already have one of the louder cars in my city (not that I think having the loudest car is cool, I simply enjoy it).. and in Washington any exhaust modification which makes your car louder is illegal... I find that if you drive responsibly and don't make extra noise cops don't bother you.. sure there is the occasional cop that doesn't appreciate modified cars but a fair share of them like them almost as much as we do.

Soooo this happened today!

I've been having some stubborn actuation in the mornings blips in 4th, notchyness here and there. When it's hot its VERY random, so, I hit up the ol amazon for Andrewtechs miracle whip.

Got tired of the plews pump I bought. Doesn't screw on anyway. Pumps nicely but the stroke is short, switched to a long bendy metal funnel.

Here's how much motul was used.

Gonna take a nice night drive tonight

Checked fluid level today and was a bit low... topped off with more motul. So far so good

Recently got a hold of an OEM mesh grille. Ended up removing the mesh and painting the plastic insert satin black. I was on the fence about it initially, but I think the look is really starting to grow on me.

Also had both rear hub assemblies replaced due to the incredibly annoying bearing noise. Covered under my extended warranty, though the service advisor was pretty disorganized and made the whole process much more cumbersome than it needed to be. Anyway, warranty is finally out, so no more dealerships for me unless I'm ordering parts.

FINALLY got my mesh grill fully installed. Next thing is to add trim sealant on the grill backing plate and drive with the new mesh for as long as it takes me to get sick of the chrome, then paint it obsidian black pearl.

It's been quite the process for this DIY. Feels good
