Get the Green so you don't run the car on the ragged edge to hit the power you want.

The Blue HTZ, to me, looks a lot like a journal bearing GTX3071R equivalent. The 'new' FP54 turbine they advertise is roughly the size of the standard GT30R turbine and while the Blue's compressor wheel is 73mm, it looks to be rated (in lb/min) roughly the same as Garrett's 71mm GTX wheel. I'd expect somewhere around 350+ whp on a Mustang dyno on pump gas. Their website shows a 2.1 making ~355 on pump and 408 on E85, Mustang dyno.

That said, for the numbers you want, go Green HTZ. Unless you are convinced you absolutely 'need' a ball bearing turbo, skip the Blouch. I've never been all that impressed with their performance to cost ratio.

I'm planning on running either the Green HTZ or Blue on my '08 STi. I've leaning towards the Blue as I'm a fan of the GTX3071R as is and it looks like it will spool better than the Green HTZ without making a whole lot less power. That said, I've seen 440whp on a Dynojet out of a Green HTZ on 91 octane, which would be ~387whp on a Mustang. If you can deal with full spool around 4k, then you cannot go wrong with the newest Green.

Has anyone else run the blue yet?

Some promising new info posted at FP.

"JR Tuned Review of the Blue including dyno sheet above.

Our Project Toilet Bowl (2000 Outback sports) hit the dyno today to do some testing on the new Forced Performance TurbochargersBlue stock location bolt on turbo. We have had it for weeks to test at the track, but the weather has really ****ed that up for us. So we decided to thrown it on the dyno and see what kinda of numbers it could produce. Full boost by 3800rpm and able to hold 27-28psi to redline(7200) This thing spools like the HTA71 but makes power like a HTZ Green

Pumpgas 93 = 430whp / 445tq E85 = 524whp / 527tq"

good info! ive been eyeballing the new fp blue too, going back and forth between the green and the blue. The 440 on the Green w 91 that youve seen, how much boost was that?

thanks

I went with the Green and am pulling 370hp and 370ft-lbs on 91 and 420/411 on E60 winter blend. Im limited by injectors, MAF and my transmission right now. I'm only at 18psi of boost right now on both fuels. Im making full boost by 4300 rpm.

340 to 350.. I think that will be easy. I do 348 on a 18G xtr at 18.5 psi

18g xtr is a 43lbs/min vs blue 57lb/min

Up date on my Dyno

March 16th 2017
List of mods
injectors 1000cc
Fuel pump
Headers
Downpipe
Intake
Turbo out let
TGV Delete
Turbo FP Blue 19 PSI
320 WHP 351 WTQ
I don't have a Exhaust, just a cut of valve and this is the reason i did not get abou 330 to 340 WHP on the top end , but i can tell one thing,my car drives amazing and is almost no turbo leg i love it, there is about 40 to 55 WHP between 4000 RPM all the way to 6700 RPM i could not be more happy

yea something is off man, my 71hta (not the new HTZ center section from xona) made with your same mods, 368hp on 93 and 416 on ethanol. Also I ran out of injector on e85, Nate said I should have been able to hit 425 reliably on their mustang dyno. Also I have ej255 heads on my LGT not the better flowing 257 heads like the sti
