Default 2 Tone Paint Job, is it Played out???

I like the 2 tone Paint jobs on the Team Orange Cars. But is it too much for a regular non kitted car? The car would be Aspen white (lower) and Black (Upper)
What do you guys think? Should I just respray all white or 2 tone?

you have to use the stock lines if this is going to look decent. just regular lines going anywhere will look ridic. if you want i can photoshop some stuff. gimme some colors and a good large pic of your car.

There are many two tone cars on this site. And all of the ones that look good are low and kitted. I dont think you can pull it off on a stockbody nor do i feel any stock car can pull off a two tone.

you cant really go wrong with white and black. actually, i think most colors with black would look o.k. if done right...i certainly don't think you NEED a body kit or anything, but a complete stocker 2 toned will probably look like doo doo

If you want to do black on top, I vote for only the pillars and roof be black. My biggest problem with that paint scheme though is the paint lines on the C-pillar/rear quarter. There's no really clean body line to follow there to give you a clean transition between the black and whatever other color.

I say go for it though. I always thought a car would look cool white or black with a colored roof, like a dark purple or red. No idea how it would look in real life though, probably a job for a photoshop guru.

Hey OP, search for Lynk's car in the Member's Car Gallery. He has an 04/05 White bottom/ Black top STI. His car is beautiful. He just posted some pics within the last few pages of the "sooper aggressive scooby set up" thread.
