Default KSport Coilovers

Has anyone here tried these coilovers on a WRX? I've been looking into them and a local shop is going to start carrying them next week (for a very good price at that).

Some quick info:
From what I've some of their stuff is produced by Tokico in Japan, it is 36 way dampening adjustable, has teflon coated threads, on certain models (like WRX) it comes with camber plates for the front, and spring rates are 7k/5k but can be changed.

Any info is appreciated

Don't have them for a Subaru, but I have a set for my Neon waiting to be installed as soon as the fabrication shop gets done with the roll cage. For the price, they're a nice setup, especially if they come with camber plates up front. The Neon ones have slotted clevis holes for camber adjustment as well as the front camber plates and new rear top mounts with spherical bushings.

They're actually not valved quite as stiff as I would have liked, but they're not bad for a street car. Mine is a dedicated track car, and I would prefer to run stiffer springs, especially up front, but one of the other Neon owners ran them on a shock dyno, and they aren't capable of damping anything much stiffer than the 7k/5k springs that come stock on them.

But they were half the price of having a set of Konis shortened, re-valved, and modified for a coilover body, so they'll do for a season or two until my driving skills catch up somewhat to the car's potential.

Do note that these are the same as the D2 Racing coilovers (differnce is color only). So maybe you'll get a better response by asking about K-sport or D2.

I have some D2s coming, but obviously not yet installed.

What spring rates are you getting with your D2's?

I've gone ahead and ordered the K-Sport. I'll post a full review once I get them on. Hopefully get them on before the autocross at the end of this month

I got used D2s off the classifieds here. Spring rates are apparently 5k and 7k. I was hoping for 7 and 9, but you can't always get what you want - unless you buy new.

They're in the garage, but I don't plan to install for a month or two. I'll be anxious to see your full review.

Well, got them on last night (along with new wheels/tires). Will make a separate thread with a full review tonight or tomorrow
