fuse? loose/disconnected wire?

internal fan (I.e. HVAC) or external radiator fan?

Also a bum temp switch perhaps.

bum not burn.

ya, not sure on the DSM's, but a bad temperature switch/sensor COULD make it not turn on. I knwo a few Audi heads were installing lower temp sensors to kick the fan on sooner.

Coolant temp sensor... I mean. imagine a "bad" one might not allow it to turn on, or read period.

p.s.(sorry i haven't changed the settings on my comp yet...reading txt isn't as easy as it should be...)

oh... ok.... so wait, You have 2 fans on the radiator correct? and one turns on occasionally? in seemingly common intervals? is that one still tuning on and off at those intervals? And you are not overheating right?

ok.. well sounds like its working fine to me. The other IIRC is for additional load on the car, like AC, defrost, yada yada. I think its fine, flip on hte AC and see if it kicks on.

i used to have a 90 eclipse turbo, same story. only one fan runs 90% of the time. every once in a while when i'd drive the crap out of it and stop right away one would kick on, then a minute later the other would also, which was much louder. when both turn on it sounds crazy.
