This looks like a good way to do it.

I noticed you didn't have a strap of any kind on your camera. Not sure if you ever use one or not. I very rarely use a strap of any kind but got the Optech quick release strap and some Adapt-its and am not very happy with the whole set up so I just ordered this as it looks like the ultimate solution for people like me who despise having a strap on all the time.

Ya that one to do it I've also seen guys take the Cokin filter holder cut the sides that hold the filters and then glue on the welding glass that way you can just snap it onto the ring adapter the Cokin holder snaps onto.... Think I'm gonna swing by harbor freight tomorrow and get a filter and play with trying to set a custom white balance on the camera to correct for almost all the green hue you would get to ease the amount on if work needed in PP.... And ya I hate the straps mostly cause when I shot in vertical the damn strap always gets in the way of the eye piece... I am going to buy a hand strap cause even with a neck strap while you walk I hate having the camera bounce off my stamoch.. But I am digging the neck strap you linked I may have to check it out when you get it

Well, the tentative schedule is up on the srrsscca website, http://srrscca.com/?page_id=14, and it looks like they are going to have more events than what I was expecting. I'm stoked.

Not sure what you are showing.

Project Kics. Why wouldn't you trust them? Pretty much the same amount of thread as a standard lug you would use with a spacer.
