Hey Greg, did you by chance in the past own an Altima with cross-drilled brake rotors?

Your reading comprehension sucks. I said that neither is better than the other. Just different and that it's not a bad thing.

I was speaking generally about rally

So if you wanna be exact I go little bit sideways at 100 and Foust goes sideways a lot

Happy???

when you go @ high speed on gravel at no time you're driving straight so technically you're sideways

And to be sideways, you should be having a hard turn coming up, and you need to scrub off a lot more speed than trying to take the turn at 60/65mph...

Now, just upsetting the car a little and improving the angle of attack while scrubbing speed, while keeping the revs up (and tires spinning on the gravel making the tach go higher... then I can see that... but sideways? Hardly.

Just sayin.

I'd love to see a video of someone going sideways at 100mph in the woods at a rally. Heck, I even went to WRC Finland, and didn't see anything like that... nor in my 9 years of following WRC.

What are you talking about????

You said that you've been to Finland and you didn't see a sideways car at high speed

This Focus is at its top speed and is CLEARLY very sideways

And its not a field, just a narrow road thru the village. And yes, there is a tree there as well

I saw plenty of cars running at high speeds. I've seen plenty of them going 'fast' in every WRC event I have on my computer (2002 through 2008), and I have yet to see a car (your clip included) at 100 mph through trees 2 feet away, sideways.

Your words. Not mine.

WOW

You are really special

Nothing is ever good for you

Kens clip sucks, Foust is slow, and a WRC Focus is incapable of going 100mph sideways

so we have it good because trees are stationary?

Tell me this is not challenging

Incar show speed right before the jump Cant see it good but it shows 89 mph

I never said it wasn't. I said that road racing and rally are different and that one isn't better than the other. What part of this concept aren't you getting. Do you breathe exclusively through your mouth?

Speaking of special, need we be reminded:

A response to trhoppe who has autocrossed, roadraced and done One Lap of America, all in Subarus.

And then in response to CamaroFS34:

Tell me what AWD 400hp car have you driven? Or even sat in?

GD
It's a 5-speed, and I can think of at least three 400hp cars that she's driven.

Oh but of course, that's not good enough because Tom and Karen don't have a heavily edited video driving against no other competition.

And then, post #220 in this thread:

This is funny. This thread has become more entertaining than the video. Cool vid with lots of obvious edits. I knew there was a reason I only hang out in Motorsports.
