Thanks!
This was a bit of a pain. First, sanded down the calipers do get grime and dirt off. Then I used an autozone paint with some wheel clear coat. it takes a few coats of each. Just a heads up though, A few months after doing it, it wore away with brake dust and had to re-do it. |

people can say all they want UEL negatively affects performance but unless you're williaty you will never feel it. all I know is for me, they made the car. I couldn't drive without the rumble. |

You only feel the difference once you go back to stock EL. The only headers I would get now are even better EL headers..Couldn't care about the sound anymore.

To me it seems that, yes the UEL design is less efficient, but with a high flow cat (or catless), that UEL inefficiency is negated and you are left with the same performance but different sound.
I am really tempted to throw down the cash for one of the Rallisport Racing headers. So sexy. |

I doubt the will flow any better. There's a lot of travel in those headers...The cat position ruins the design.

i still dont understand why there was even a cat put in the header. if you cant manage your way around a P0420 you shouldnt be modding a car....

I can have my hopes on the flow.
Since I live in Kalifornia, emissions BS is kind of important. If I get caught catless it's something like a $2500 ticket and my car will get towed. At least that's the rumor. I know a lot of people who have been sent to the Ref but I can't remember if they were catless or if the cop noticed that they were catless or not. |

The stock cat is part of the oem header. Some states require the cat(s) to be in the stock location to pass emissions. This setup is suppose to be a stock replacement to obtain the "rumble" and maintain stock emissions levels. No modifications required and no issues with the emissions police.
