I honestly have more respect for Guard/Reserve personnel during this last war.

One weekend a month, two weeks a year my ass.

Personally I signed up before 9/11 so I never knew I was going to Iraq. Everyone who signed up after have no excuse.

Very true!! When I deployed to Afghanistan attached to an army unit they were all New York national guard and then Illinois replaced them.

Yes that on a 2wd Dynojet dyno, I'm sure the next ? Is what is the difference in power reading on a 2wd vs awd dyno's , the answer is not enough to worry about frankly , I know that Underground currently has a STi at the shop that put down 425whp I believe and that was on a HTA FP Green turbo on pump with meth injection

Rode in Paul's old STi. Had no doubt there was 400+ whp Subarus in Alaska lol. But is there a 450+whp 97 Legacy? . Very cool though. Love watching those things on the dyno.

Be nice to see that 97 hit those numbers, I hope to put my car up on the dyno as soon as time allows to see where she sits

Totally random, but still on topic of off topic... Any of the older generation see SNL tonight? If so, how many thought the musical guest reminded them of another eccentric performer from the 80's?

Damn, I wish we had this in Alaska or in the US. I'd pay the 540 install fee.
In fact, I would take a lower speed as long as I can have unlimited data!

Haha....yeah go ahead ill let you know now that most things that run off of fiber now a days don't even use the full potential because once it hits your wifi router or switch it only becomes as fast as the weakest link. Plus the cost of fiber is stupid when most devices won't even be able to use it. it'll get converted into cat6 cable and than it is only as fast as cat6. Only advantage to fiber is you can run it as far as you like where as cat6 is only "good" up to 300 feet. But hey 50$ for unlimited that would be awesome.
I'd go into more detail but I don't want to bore people lol.

American Tire and Auto go-to place for tire changeovers with painted wheels? Precision Powdercoating referred me to them but wanted input from others.

I've noticed REI in Anchorage (and national for that matter) no longer carries the Yakima Load Warrior cargo basket. Any idea who else might carry such a useful item?

I had a lowered 94 Acura Integra, tucking 195/55R15's, and need an alighnment. I told them upfront. My car is fricken low and no one else in town could do it. Can you guys align my car. Went out and looked it over and said, yea we can get it on there. Cool. 30min later, "Hey we need you to come pick up your car, we couldnt align it. Ok fine, yall tried. ok. I come to see my car with broken tabs on the sides where it mounts to my fender and my bumper is jus hangin.

I helped a buddy of mine drop off some brand new Audi RS4 reps without a single scratch or curbage. fresh out the box. Got tires installed with more than just "mounting marks".

This was afew years ago so things may have changed. Nothing was done about the poor service.

Honestly, i cant think of anyone i would take a set of wheels to knowing they wont get damaged.
