Default Where to put the stinky line?

I wasn't sure where to post this, so lets leave this here

I am trying to figure out where the put the vent hose for my IAG AOS
Right now I have it routed down and along the transmission, so its sitting somewhere right under my butt

Given the age of my car and amount of "weight reduction holes" in the chassis, I can smell it when stopped in traffic

What should be a better location to route the vent line to, so that I don't smell it inside the cabin?

I won't vent it into intake, so this leaves me with little options like routing into fender or straight down

I vent mine (same chassis) right in front of the brake booster into a gatorade bottle that I wrap a paper towel around. On cold start there's some smell in the engine bay, but none in the passenger cabin, and once warm all the smells go away.

Newb question. What does this "stinky line" smell like. I have an IAG IOS in my '15 that I just bought. I get a smell of curry or cumin'esque' every so often... I thought it was a smell reminiscent of the previous owner.

Yeah that’s the previous owner.

Its an oil vapor that the AOS vents out to atmosphere, used oily smell.
