Default CO: 2008 WRB STi, 6k on new built engine & trans, $19,950

Year, Make, Model: 2008 Subaru WRX STi Hatch WRB
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Price: $19,950
Mileage: 113k on chassis, 6k on engine/trans
Transmission: 6-speed, steel shift forks & upgraded front diff

Description:
• Car is practically new mechanically! New IAG Stage 2 Tuff shortblock with rebuilt heads, and even the transmission was rebuilt and upgraded at the same time (at 107,638 miles in December 2018)
• Current factory wheels have like new Bridgestone Blizzak tires on them (about 6500 miles on them). One tire pressure sensor has been flaky so the light it on. Planned on getting aftermarket wheels/summer tires for summer use but I’ll leave that to the next owner to choose!
• Car was only in Texas and Colorado for it’s history, so no present or future rust issues
• Factory HID headlights with Morimoto LED Fog lights in factory housing (all new; using 2012 Front Bumper/grill)
• Aftermarket Alpine iLX-007 radio with WIRELESS Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, USB, Aux, hand-free calling (microphone in upper console) – still have OEM 6-disc radio that works fine if you want it
• Upgraded all 4 brakes to Stoptech slotted discs and matching pads (just done at 108k)
• Have the OE cross-bars if interested; can be negotiated in the deal
• Have WeatherTech Floor mats (front & rear) and OE Subaru rubber cargo mat that can be negotiated in the deal
• Aftermarket sway bars, bushings and links (came with car; unsure of brand)
• Windows tinted (all but windshield)
• Primitive Racing Diff and front heavy duty skid plates (brand new)
• Grimmspeed Up-pipe, Invidia Downpipe (with cat), and Invidia Q300 exhaust system with Titanium tips
• Curt Class 1 Trailer hitch and wiring just added to use with my bike rack and haul my small 4x8 trailer which I only have done twice
• Interior is pretty good shape and doesn’t look like the interior of a 10-year old car; seats are super solid and not worn down much at all. Normal wear on the edges of the leather seats
• Upgraded HomeLink auto-dimming mirror with compass
• Added Subaru OE Armrest extension
• Brand new lift gate supports
• Everything works; heat, AC, power everything, keyless entry, etc.
• Have two keys but only 1 key fob

Service History:
• Have a complete and very thorough parts/service list since I’ve owned the car; nearly everything on the car was replaced just in December 2018! Dyno tune completed after engine break-in on January 4th by Revolutions Performance (have dyno sheet for both 91 & E85)

o IAG Stage 2 Tuff Shortblock
o JDM 12mm Oil Pump
o Killer B Oil Pump Pickup Tube
o ARP Head Studs

o New OEM Thermostat
o Grimmspeed Cold Air Kit
o AEM Fuel Pump
o Stage 1 Kelford Cam (220-B)
o Competition Clutch Stage 2 with lightweight steel flywheel
o IAG Street Series AOS
o Cobb Flex-Fuel kit with Regulator and Pressure Sensors
o New OEM Subaru Starter
o Almost every vacuum hose replaced with new OEM
o ID 1000 injectors (not new but were rebuilt & flow checked by ID)
o New FP 71HTA Turbocharger with Grimmspeed Heat Shield
o AMR Turbo Inlet Casting
o FEMCO Oil drain valve
o Cobb AP for custom tune (done by Revolutions)
o JDM Boost Gauge mounted above steering wheel
o Grimmspeed BCS
o TGV Delete (IAG)
o Secondary Air Delete (IAG)
o Intake Air Temp Sensor Kit (mounted on intercooler)

• ZF Design rebuilt & Upgraded Transmission

o Upgraded front differential mod
o All new synchros
o 2nd gear & reverse replaced
o 5th & 6th gears upgraded to JDM spec (longer ratio; better highway driving)
o New Subaru red shift knob and shifter bushings

• Engine and transmission were properly broken in as required. IAG has a pretty stringent process of using Motul Break-in oil with several changes throughout the first 3,000 miles.
• Radiator upgraded with Mishimoto 3-core including hoses & new cap
• Rear diff fluid changed to Motul at 108k
• Trans fluid changed to Motul after proper 500 mile break-in
• Oil/filter freshly changed at 113,431 miles with Motul 8100 Xcess 5W-40 & OEM Filter

• Dyno Results from Revolutions on their DYNO Mite Axle-hub AWD Dyno (uncorrected)
o E70 (K&G): 307.3 hp/270 tq at 5975 rpm
o 91 Octane: 279.5 hp/245.9 tq at 5975 rpm
o Could eek out significantly more power if you simply add and upgraded intercooler. Motor can handle much larger turbo and injectors as well if you want to go for all out power, but I built this to be a great daily driver so the turbo is optimized for less lag. This block is rated for up to 675hp!

The minor faults:
• Couple of larger door dings that can probably be taken out with PDR; one in middle of driver’s door, other on edge of both passenger’s doors
• Front Bumper/right side of hood needs adjusted a bit
• Parking block got the underside of front bumper recently and scraped it up a little
• Small nick in windshield but above the sightline
• Few other dings & scratches here and there but nothing major
• Wear in the silver driver’s door handle area on the interior
• There was a hole that’s currently filled with a blank plug in the radio trim; previous owner I think had a subwoofer control knob mounted there
• Rear window tint is a little scratched up from cargo; not terrible can still see through just fine
