Default few questions about motor build up.

so i have an sti bottom end and am thinking of using mahle 100mm pistons, eagle rods or pauter rods, cosworth rod and main bearings, cometic head gaskets and arp head studs. i also have the 2.0 heads and was considering using JUN 264 cams.

to get to the point, i was wondering if i am heading in the right direction and how much it would cost (roughly) to get my engine ported and balanced with all the listed goodies installed. is there anything else i need? has anyone else done a similar build up?

other current mods include a gt35r, 800cc injectors, perrin fuel rails, txs fmic with custom piping and reversed intake manifold, tgv deletes, full catless exhaust with gt spec equal length headers and i think thats about all that matters.

Please HELP. thanks!

you want to look into different pistons.

but use ej255/57 head gasket. the rest of your build
sounds good. read up on oil pumps.
