Hi guys, I recently purchased a wrecked '06 STi and am in the process of fixing it up. I loved the '05 front ends but kept finding those years to have high miles so I picked this one up for a good price and am going to convert it to the JDM 2005 front end.

I'm new to Subaru's but not new to forums and the tuning world.

I've had a '05 540whp Ford Superduty 6.0 Diesel, and now I'm running a '13 435whp Ford Superduty 6.7 Diesel.

how do you guys go about posting pictures here?

Any way to attaching it to the post or back to photobucket?

How bad was the damage to the core support? That looks like a good smash. I've thought about picking one up off IAAI as well. How was the process? Did you find it local to you?

The core support was destroyed. And the frame rails creased about 8” back from the support. So I gave it to a Profesional frame guy and he pulled it back down where it needed to be and replaced the front clip from the crease locations with the jdm front clip that I bought.

Oh and no it wasn’t local. I’m up in Washington and I got it in El Paso, TX

Yes I have a very lightly damaged hood, a passenger side fender, passenger side grill insert, center grill insert without perimeter framing, and a few pieces for the front bumper.
The passenger side headlight has a broken tab and no wiring because I used it for the swap.

Nice restoration. I love the color, is it stock or modded?

I just bought my first Subaru last week, world rally blue 2018 sti and I love it. Has the PNW Chapter done any meet ups lately, or at all?
