Default 2019 STI Wheels after Sonax

After cleaning and scrubbing with a brush, I still haverough spots on the wheels that wont seem to come off. I wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions to get these clean.

Assuming youre speaking of Full Effect? Did it change color before you agitated?

Those look like they haven't even been touched, but I'm a big proponent of P&S Brake Buster. For whatever else Iron X will easily clean off.

Kinda looks like surface rust. My BBS wheels have the same thing. Also did you try Dawn dish spray? That stuff works really well at removing brake dust.

Clay bar will magically remove caked in brake dust. I had this issue on my BBS wheels. Put in the hard work with an OTC Meguiar's clay bar and they were in factory fresh condition afterwards.

If your wheels are clear-coated, you can use acidic wheel cleaner to remove the nasty brake dust.
