They're really nice, if you want to know first hand ask either Force[Fed] or Impreza Dot Com. They both have JC Sports units.

I have the old JC exhaust setup. It's loud enough for my taste. the intake is what is going to nail you. It's almost as bad as an open exhaust. You get used to it, though. I'm a little more deaf, but it was fun the whole time . It's not going to get any quieter with what I'm doing to it. N/A cars make a lot more noise than turbos.

The sound level is perfect! I have the JC Sports Aerospeed Bomb exhaust with my turbo. It doesn't get boomy inside the car like my stromung did, and sounds nice and barky as the revs rise - the Stromung seemed to get quiter as you went faster. Didn't like that about it...

Has anyone ever tried a 2.5" JC Sports exhaust on an N/A engine before? Every shop I ask gives me a different answer about whether you gain or lose power from a pipe this big.

Well I don't have a JC exhaust, but I have an Apexi N1 with 2&1/2 inch piping and I didnt feel like I lost any power on my 01 Impreza. Infact the mid to high end gains made the biggest difference...and the sound....oh man
