Question dual?

i dunno, i was just curious. has NEone ever seen a 2.5rs with dual exhaust? how would it look? cause i have always loved dual exhaust systems on cars (ie new m3 ).
but... i dunno. i cant quite picture it on a 00-01 2.5.
does NEone have NE pics?

.. and if not. would it be pointless to put one on? mainly for "show" huh? as opposed to "go"
im not soo educated in this field
help.

but yah. i was just wondering.

it would be a waste. it would actually make your car slower.

unless you put a turbo on the car, you want nothing larger than a 2.25" pipe for an exhaust.

a daul would make at least 4" total, and completely loose your torque.

4 cylinder cars just don't put out enough exhaust for a dual.

Ahhh, but a dual 1.59" exhaust would be equivalent to a 2.25" exhaust and could be spruced up with a pair of pep boys exhaust tips!

And it would look really keen with the single bumper cut-out!

Wouldn't that add a lot of x-s weight?

I would imagine a 1.59" cat back exhaust wouldn't be more than 30 or so pounds. That's a livable amount of weight. Of course, the other otion might be to just bolt up a second muffler and tip on the right side without actually connecting anything to the exhaust system. A FMIC would complete the look nicely

No gains, just looks, and possibly sound depending on which muffler you went with. Of course, there are pieces in the way on the right side of the car (the evap box, for one)...if you've done a rear sway-bar swap, you know about that. Probably not enough room, unless you get something like the N1 and hang it really low.
