Default Walbro 255 fuel pump install kit needed?

is the install kit needed or can it just be pluged up normal

not sure but why not get the whole kit? cheaper?

not really needed, save one part. in my experience.
its comes with a wiring hanress from the pump to the plug on top of the assm., a pair of new clamps, some hose, and a new "sock" for the bottom, and a new rubber isolator that fits the shape of the walbro perfectly.

i re-used the subaru "sock", i reused the same hose and clamps as i didn't do any cutting. the wiring harness is unnecessary as the one already in the car is identical, the walbro plugs right in. the only part i would think you really might need is the rubber isolator at the bottom. but who knows, if you set the walbro in the stock one its a loose fit, maybe after you zip tie the unit to the main bracket, it will be pretty secure too?
